Hailing from Velandria originally, Vika has been a reliable source of muscle in the Cartel’s operations for close to a decade. For Vika, the Cartel was part of the family business, taking after her father who was one of the Cartel’s first Orc enforcers, much to the protest of her mother. Her father was killed in the faction’s power vacuum that opened after Skilet’s demise, and fearing for her and her mother’s life, Vika fled east to Baldur. There she has joined with the remnants of the Baldurian Branch, calling themselves Nova-Rossa. With her old friend Marchese di Houf as leader, she is hoping she has found a place of relative safety. Though clashes with rival gangs are inevitable, she’d rather come face to face with her foe than take a knife in the back.

The Rossa Cartel was always part of Vika’s life, even as a small child. Her father was one of the first Orc enforcers hired by Skilet during the organisation’s earliest days, years before he would meet her mother. When Vika was born, her mother begged her father to give up the life of crime, but her pleas fell on deaf ears. Whilst his work in the cartel was brutal, it paid well, earning his family a comfortable life in the opulent city of Velandria, something he would never have dreamed of in his life before.

Not all that glitters is gold, however. A life of wealth built on the misery of others is bound to have its pitfalls. For Vika’s parents this came with her own induction into the Rossa Cartel, after meeting with Skilet behind her parent’s backs to prove her mettle and follow in her father’s footsteps. Vika, unbeknownst to her parents and even Skilet, had brokered a deal with a dark patron, bestowing upon her unyielding might and hands that could manipulate the fabric of reality around her, tearing enemies asunder or throwing her across large distances relatively unharmed. Dark magicks became second nature to her, and with this she became an even more terrifying presence than her father.

Her mother was heartbroken, her father furious. His temper was later quelled by Skilet’s counsel, but no words could alleviate the pain that struck her mother, for in her eyes both her loves were fated to die bloody violent deaths. The first came to her husband, shortly after Skilet’s own demise. In the power vacuum that followed, Vika and her father were ambushed by a splinter faction who saw the two greenskins as potential future threats to their rise to power. Whilst Vika slaughtered their assailants, her father was mortally wounded, dying in her arms. Soon after, Vika took her mother and paid for passage to Baldur, where their family friend Marchese di Houf resided as the head of the Baldurian branch of the Rossa Cartel. He greeted them with open arms, and Vika fell under his wing to become the enforcer of his own splinter faction: Nova-Rossa. Here she hopes that her mother may live in relative safety, and while Vika understands she will be poised for battle in the city’s unravelling gang wars, she would rather a dagger be at her front than her back.
