A warrior who never lost a battle, save for the battle of time and age. In his rebirth in Syelden, Valoris was given his body of youth and strength once again, pitting himself in an endless arena as his ideal afterlife. Now, after centuries of toil, he can put his experience to use against a true foe once again.
A warrior of Draksborne, hailing from its golden age at the peak of its imperial breadth. Valoris was a hero among his people, then a legend centuries later. Yet his heart was never set upon the glory of the Empire, but the glory of battle. He gladly would have seen the Empire diminish if it saw him take on greater foes and battles. In the decades he served as a warrior upon the front, every battle he fought it became a victory for the empire, and soldiers saw his presence therefore as a good omen, and their enemies a marker of an impending defeat.
As a warrior he was brutal, but honourable. Wielding two enormous greatsword in each hand, he could hew an armour-clad man with ease, yet grant mercy to those who would plead for their lives thereafter. He would cut through swathes of men unabated, unscratched, earning him his moniker of “The Unscathed.” Yet for all the flawless battles he won, the long battle against time and age finally claimed him, granting him a peaceful death at an old age. When his soul travelled to Namneri’s Chalice, and he was reborn in Syelden, the divine of War and Peace, Horauthin, took a keen interest in Valoris.
He offered to the Unscathed an endless arena of battle, and his youthful vigour, so that he might hone his skills forever more in an infinite crucible. Valoris gladly accepted the offer, and since his death hundreds of years ago, he has fought wave after wave of powerful foes in the crucible. Though many have challenged his title as the Unscathed, for the warriors conjured by the Divine of War far outpowered the ranks of mundane mortal men he faced on the battlefields. Now he fights his equals, and with the invasion Syelden now faces, he is given his chance to test his honed skills against a truly evil foe.
