Parts will not be glued on to help painting the miniature easier and to secure transport, normal superglue works fine.

An old stone circle that has stood since the First Era. Any true history of this ominous formation is lost to legend. Whether they were carved and carried by the First Men who settled in Tharador’s north near the end of the Colossal War, or were erected years prior by the native Colossals of the region. It is unknown what truly transpired to bring such a formation about, but even laymen with no hint of magic can feel the unnatural darkness and malice that surrounds them within their presence.
An ancient sacrificial site from thousands of years prior, whose true purpose and history have been lost to antiquity. Few scholars from beyond Nordheim have ever stood in its presence and left the mysterious region alive. Those few recordings of this site vary vastly, both in descriptions and purpose. Whilst some record the stones as having obvious Oldavori influence in their runes and architecture, others confer that they may be instead derived by ancient Men, who settled in the area in the twilight years of the Colossal War.
Regardless, all report a great eeriness that overwhelmed them in its presence. While some felt an impending sense of dread, a heightened fear of death and oblivion. Others wrote of interactions with the spirits of deceased friends and family, or apparent strangers who knew intimate details of the scholar. What’s most peculiar is for all those who did manage to leave the site alive, they all took their own lives within five years of their visit to it. Now, it is used by the false divine Hel as her place of sacrifice, members of her cult delivering worthy offerings to the site, where they thus watch in awe as she harvests the soul of the deceased, imbibing in its power. It seems that the Bloodied Cairn somehow acts as a vessel to move the freshly shed soul into Hel’s own, staving the fading of her powers.
