One of the first Kings of the Velgaryn from the Age of Creation. Ridan was among the three Colossal Kings to fight against the Ilgritharm when they first stepped foot on Tharador. Ridan perished in the battle, and his body has rested beneath the soil that would become Sudd Tohst, buried in a hastily constructed tomb by his kin. Now his slumber of thousands of years has ended, risen by Myrothlir himself.
The leader of the Karkano Clan of Colossals who united with their Formonol and Oldavori cousins to march against the Ilgritharm when they first stepped foot on Tharador during the Age of Creation. Ridan was slain during the battle, immortalized by his people in song and tale. His corpse was buried in a tomb that was swiftly made after the battle, a location which has been lost to time and the desert sands as the battlefield became an ashen land that turned to desert millennia later.
Though there was one who knew the resting place of Ridan: Myrothlir. The Dark Harbinger of Undeath has recently claimed the ancient body of the Colossal King, enthralling it as his most recent servant. Though the plans he holds for Ridan are mysterious, they are instrumental into furthering the goals of Mindoriel’s Spawn.
The ancient Skeleton still holds unyielding power, its stature imposing for any regular knight or warrior that dares to stand against it. Within the desert of Sudd Tohst, the body of Ridan gathers a new army, one that it aims to march against the living, lest it be stopped by champions of the Tharameni.
