A mysterious wanderer from the land of Xuia. Kuzen is an individual of few words, and seemingly the only one of his kind. Though his past is shrouded in mystery, his present motives are clear: eradicate the Cult of the Coiled Serpent and salt their name so their ideals might never bear fruit again.
In the land of Xuia, legends speak of a mischievous and enigmatic figure who has wandered the world for centuries: Kuzen, the Traveller. Little is known about his origins, but ancient texts hint that Kuzen may not be of this world, nor of any known race. Some say he was born from a sacred stone atop a mountain in Xuia, imbued with the elemental forces of nature, while others whisper that he is the last of his kind, a unique being destined to walk the earth in search of something beyond mortal comprehension.
Kuzen is a figure of contradictions. Though his past is shrouded in mystery, his present motives are always clear, he has a singular purpose: to eradicate the Cult of the Coiled Serpent. Where most would be consumed by vengeance or hatred, Kuzen treats the task with an almost casual indifference, as though it’s simply another challenge in his endless journey. His desire to see the Cult destroyed is not born of personal malice but of a deeper understanding of balance and chaos in the world. The Cult’s ambitions threaten that balance, and Kuzen sees it as his duty to salt their name, ensuring their ideals never bear fruit again.
Kuzen’s wanderings have taken him far beyond the borders of Xuia, into the lands of Tharador, where his reputation precedes him. He is known for his incredible agility, supernatural strength, and an unparalleled ability to escape any situation. He possesses an innate mastery of Minera’s Breath, channelling it in ways that defy conventional understanding. Yet, despite these abilities, Kuzen is humble, rarely speaking of his past achievements or acknowledging the awe he inspires in those who witness his feats.
For all his power and wisdom, Kuzen is a creature of whimsy. He prefers to act as a lone agent, appearing when least expected and vanishing just as suddenly. His methods are unconventional, often using trickery and misdirection to outwit his foes.Though when it comes to his mission, he is relentless. The Cult of the Coiled Serpent will learn, as many others have before them, that crossing paths with Kuzen is to invite the wrath of the untamable forces of nature itself.
Though his past may remain hidden, Kuzen’s presence in Tharador is a harbinger of change. The Traveller walks the earth not to conquer or rule, but to maintain a fragile balance that he alone seems to fully understand. And as long as the Cult of the Coiled Serpent seeks to tip that balance toward destruction, they will find Kuzen standing in their way, ready to bring their ambitions to ruin.
