A Farlander Elf who lived among the canopies of Nan Thalias’ far north. She has left the sanctuary of her closely-guarded kin to pursue life beyond her cloistered home, much to their dismay. She is quickly becoming in awe of the world beyond, but also more appreciative of her own home, hoping that she can live to see the day to return, and that they will accept her when she does.

All Kahlia had known for centuries were the canopies of her homeland. The Farlander Elves, those who still practiced the ways of the first Beremni, refusing to integrate into the world that Tharador had become, even with their own Elven kin. They are traditionalists, adhering to the ways of Calanel Thalias and Renmaeth, rejecting any teachings of Tharanais or civilization. Kahlia, though much in love with her home and family, longed to see more. When they were told the tales of the Schism of the Beremeni, Kahlia asked “why?” That they should remain among the trees like the first of their folk, rather than live the life that seemed planned for them by Tharador himself.

Such questions saw her scorned, and it was here that her wanderlust was first kindled. When she came of age, and was honed enough in her druidcraft to leave their sanctuary and traverse the world alone, she left. In the dead of night, she took the form of a bird and fled. Since that day, she has seen sights she could only ever dream over. The towering temples of the Tharameni in Velandria, the University of Ardris, the endless expanse of ocean at the shore.

Now in Tradver, she marvels at the winding canals that cut through the city, and the life that teems through the labyrinth of brick and stone. It is here that she came upon a notice given by the mysterious Aaron Drafthold, leading her into the Wandering Bastion with a group of others in search for riches. Yet inside, those she travelled with were slain, and in desperation she took the form of an insect, and has since kept that form for days as she searches for an escape from the castle’s clutches. Her latest hope is a new group of adventurers that have entered, who seemingly hold more grit than those before them.
