All prints are made to order, cleaned and cured by hand and then primed. We do our best to remove support structures from the objects, some bumps may remain and may need to be filed or sanded.
Note that the miniatures are small and thin in some places and may be brittle.
We try our best to secure the miniatures in the packages but mailing services around the world may handle the packages with little care, if anything breaks from transport issues please contact us and we will replace them.
Hailing from Draksborne, Ser Ludwig was among the first to valiantly fight against the forces of Dragonblight when they took root in the kingdom. Since Draksborne’s fall, Ser Ludwig has wielded the weight of a million souls on his shoulders. A warrior once propelled by rage is now driven by guilt, hoping to find redemption in a crusade against evil.
In the city of Eredel, Ser Ludwig was among the first to witness the horrors of Dragonblight. Forced to cut down citizens and even his own peers as the disease contorted their minds and bodies, twisting them into unholy amalgamations of flesh and bone. The city fell. His home was lost: the place he had sworn to safeguard as part of his Oath as a Paladin of Horauthin. Like his comrades, he fled south, hoping to stem the ceaseless tide, but it was no use. City after city fell, and Ser Ludwig defied the odds, surviving each time. The longer he survived, the heavier his conscience grew as more and more of his kin fell around him, often forcing him to put a swift end to their suffering before the disease could claim them.
During the quarantine of Canos, he was gravely injured in the fighting, though the disease did not take hold in him. For weeks he remained under quarantine, closely observed by scholars of Tharanais for the diseases’ spread, and then after became the subject of rigorous testing for why it did not manifest in him. Ser Ludwig cared little for that. His soul was burdened with the deaths of thousands, with the weight of his failure as the ailment festered in the land, reaping it of life.
Its proliferation fell solely on him, he felt. When the disease ended with its architect’s death, he felt even further a failure that it was not him to deal the deathblow: that another had stolen his glory. Now a year and a half later his body has recovered, but his mind is still wounded and raw. A chance for redemption has been given to him with the current crusade against Myrothlir leading him to Sudd Tohst.
