Cancellation policy
This Purchase Options Cancellation Policy applies to products offered by PrintCraft Creations as pre-orders or through another clearly identified deferred purchase option.
PrintCraft Creations does not currently offer recurring product subscriptions unless this is expressly stated on the relevant product page.
1. Pre-Orders
A pre-order allows you to purchase or reserve a product before it is ready for normal fulfilment or shipment.
Products offered as pre-orders will be clearly identified as such on the relevant product page or during checkout.
Where available, we will provide an estimated production, release or shipping timeframe before you place your order.
Estimated dates may occasionally change due to production delays, supplier delays, manufacturing issues or other circumstances affecting availability.
2. Payment for Pre-Orders
Depending on the pre-order arrangement, you may be charged:
- the full purchase price when the order is placed;
- part of the purchase price when the order is placed, with the remaining amount charged later; or
- at a later date before fulfilment.
The applicable payment arrangement will be shown during the ordering process before you complete your purchase.
By placing a pre-order, you authorise the payment arrangement that is clearly presented during checkout.
3. Cancelling a Pre-Order Before Delivery
If you wish to cancel a pre-order before it has been delivered, please contact us as soon as possible at stian@printcraft.no.
Consumer rights relating to cancellation before delivery are governed by applicable consumer law and are not limited by this policy.
Where a pre-order is validly cancelled, any amount that is no longer lawfully due will be refunded.
If only part of the purchase price has been charged, the applicable amount already paid will be refunded and, where possible, any remaining scheduled payment associated with the cancelled order will be cancelled.
Refunds will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
4. Production Already Started
Some PrintCraft products are manufactured specifically after an order or pre-order has been placed.
The fact that production has started does not by itself remove any mandatory cancellation or consumer rights you may have.
However, where permitted by applicable law, consequences of cancellation may differ if PrintCraft has already incurred a direct and documented loss as a result of the cancellation.
Any such matter will be assessed individually and in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
5. Customised and Personalised Pre-Orders
Different rules may apply to products manufactured according to your individual specifications or products that have been given a clearly personalised character.
Where a product is subject to an exception from the statutory right of withdrawal because it is individually customised or personalised, this will be made clear before the order is placed where required by law.
A standard product being manufactured or 3D printed after an order is placed does not, by itself, make the product customised or personalised.
6. Changes to Estimated Shipping or Release Dates
If we are unable to ship a pre-order within the timeframe originally communicated, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an updated estimated shipping date.
If a significant delay occurs, you may contact us to discuss the available options, including cancellation and refund where required by applicable law.
We will not use a changed estimated shipping date to limit any statutory rights you may have.
7. Cancellation by PrintCraft
In rare circumstances, PrintCraft may need to cancel a pre-order, for example if:
- the product becomes unavailable;
- production becomes impossible or commercially impracticable;
- a supplier or licensor withdraws the product;
- there is a significant technical or pricing error; or
- we are otherwise unable to fulfil the order.
If PrintCraft cancels a pre-order and no amount is lawfully due from you, any payment already collected for the cancelled product will be refunded.
8. Fulfilled and Delivered Pre-Orders
Once a pre-order has been delivered, cancellation of the pre-order itself is no longer relevant.
Your rights relating to withdrawal, returns, defective products, incorrect products and refunds are then governed by our Refund & Return Policy, our Terms of Service & Conditions of Sale and applicable consumer law.
9. No Recurring Subscription
Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, purchasing a pre-order from PrintCraft does not create a recurring subscription.
You will not receive repeated deliveries or recurring charges solely because you purchased a product as a pre-order.
Some parts of the Shopify checkout may use general terms such as “purchase option”, “deferred purchase” or “subscription policy”. Where the product is identified as a pre-order, these terms do not mean that you are entering into a recurring subscription with PrintCraft.
