Terms of Service & Conditions of Sale

These Terms of Service & Conditions of Sale apply to purchases made through the PrintCraft Creations online store and to your use of our website.

By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

PrintCraft Creations is referred to in these terms as “PrintCraft”, “we”, “us” or “our”.

The person or entity placing an order is referred to as the “customer” or “you”.

Where the customer is a consumer, mandatory consumer protection legislation applies regardless of anything stated in these terms.

2. The Agreement

The agreement between you and PrintCraft consists of:

• the information provided on the relevant product page;

• the information provided during checkout;

• your order;

• the order confirmation;

• these Terms of Service & Conditions of Sale;

• our Refund & Return Policy;

• our Shipping Policy; and

• any other terms expressly agreed between you and PrintCraft.

If there is a conflict between these terms and mandatory consumer protection law, the mandatory legal provisions take precedence.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when placing an order, including your name, email address, delivery address and any selected product options, is correct.

3. Products and Product Information

We aim to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, dimensions, scales, materials, colours and other product information.

Images are intended to represent the products as accurately as reasonably possible. However, the appearance of colours may vary depending on lighting, photography and your display.

Many of our products are manufactured using 3D printing. Minor layer lines, support marks, small surface variations and similar characteristics may occur as a natural result of the manufacturing process.

Such characteristics do not in themselves constitute a defect where they are consistent with the product description and what can reasonably be expected from the manufacturing method.

Hand finishing, assembly and other production processes may also result in minor variations between individual items.

Where measurements or dimensions are stated, small manufacturing tolerances may apply unless exact dimensions are specifically guaranteed.

4. Made-to-Order Products

Many PrintCraft products are manufactured after an order has been placed rather than being held as finished stock.

Our normal production time is approximately 1–2 weeks, unless a different production time is stated on the product page or communicated to you.

Production time is separate from shipping time.

The fact that a standard product is manufactured or 3D printed after an order has been placed does not by itself make the product a personalised or custom-made item and does not automatically exclude the statutory right of withdrawal.

Different rules may apply where a product is manufactured according to your individual specifications or has been given a clearly personalised character. Where such an exception applies, this will be made clear before the order is placed.

5. Prices, VAT and Other Charges

The price shown for a product at the time the order is placed is the price applicable to that order, except in the case of an obvious pricing or technical error that you reasonably should have understood to be incorrect.

For customers in Norway, displayed consumer prices include applicable Norwegian VAT unless clearly stated otherwise.

Shipping charges are shown separately during checkout before the order is placed.

For orders delivered outside Norway, local import VAT, customs duties, handling charges or other taxes may apply depending on the destination country.

Where such charges are not collected by PrintCraft during checkout, they are normally the responsibility of the recipient.

Any applicable charges that we collect directly will be shown during checkout.

6. Payment

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

Payment is processed through Shopify and the payment providers made available in our store.

By submitting an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

Unless otherwise stated during checkout, payment is due when the order is placed or processed by the relevant payment provider.

If payment cannot be authorised or completed, the order may not be processed.

We do not store complete payment card details ourselves. Payment information is handled by the relevant payment provider in accordance with its security and privacy procedures.

7. Order Confirmation and Acceptance

After placing an order, you will normally receive an electronic order confirmation.

Please review the confirmation and contact us promptly if any information is incorrect.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including:

• an obvious pricing or technical error;

• inability to supply the ordered product;

• suspected fraud or misuse of payment information;

• an order that would require us to violate applicable law; or

• incorrect or incomplete information that prevents us from fulfilling the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken and no amount is lawfully due from you, the relevant payment will be refunded.

Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights.

8. Delivery and Shipping

Orders are shipped to the delivery address provided during checkout.

Estimated production and shipping times are provided for guidance and may vary depending on order size, production capacity, destination, customs processing, carrier delays and other circumstances.

Unless otherwise stated, our normal production time for made-to-order products is approximately 1–2 weeks before shipment.

Typical shipping estimates after dispatch are described in our Shipping Policy.

When your order has been shipped, we will provide shipping information and tracking where tracking is available for the selected service.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

If an order is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, or because the shipment was not collected, we will contact you regarding possible redelivery. Additional shipping costs may apply where permitted by law and where the failed delivery was not caused by PrintCraft or the carrier.

9. Risk During Delivery

For consumer purchases where PrintCraft arranges the shipping, the risk of loss or damage generally remains with PrintCraft until you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, have physically received the goods.

Different rules may apply if you independently arrange transportation using a carrier or shipping method that was not offered by PrintCraft.

If a shipment appears to have been lost or damaged in transit, please contact us so that we can investigate the matter with the carrier.

10. Delayed Delivery

If we do not deliver the goods at the agreed time, and the delay is not caused by you or circumstances for which you are responsible, your rights are governed by applicable consumer legislation.

Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to require delivery, set an additional reasonable deadline, cancel the purchase or claim compensation where the statutory requirements are met.

If we become aware of a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you.

Estimated production and delivery dates are not intended to limit any statutory rights relating to delayed delivery.

11. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Consumers purchasing through our online store normally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.

Detailed information about exercising the right of withdrawal, returning goods, return shipping costs, refunds and applicable exceptions is provided in our Refund & Return Policy.

The Refund & Return Policy forms part of these Terms of Service & Conditions of Sale.

The statutory right of withdrawal is separate from your rights relating to defective or incorrectly supplied goods.

12. Order Cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order before delivery, please contact us as soon as possible at stian@printcraft.no.

Your statutory rights regarding cancellation before delivery are not limited by this section.

For standard products, we will make reasonable efforts to stop production or shipment after receiving a cancellation request.

For individually customised or personalised products, different rules may apply once production has begun where permitted by applicable law.

13. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products

You have statutory rights if a product:

• is defective;

• is damaged;

• does not correspond to the description or agreed specifications;

• is materially different from what was ordered; or

• otherwise fails to meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.

If you believe there is a problem with an order, please contact us at stian@printcraft.no and provide your order number, a description of the issue and photographs where relevant.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, available remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction, cancellation of the purchase or refund.

We may ask you to return the product where reasonably necessary to assess or resolve the issue.

Where a valid complaint concerns a defect for which PrintCraft is responsible, reasonable necessary return costs will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

14. Complaints

If you discover a defect or other issue with a product, please notify us within a reasonable time after you discovered, or reasonably should have discovered, the issue.

For Norwegian consumer purchases, statutory complaint periods apply independently of the 14-day right of withdrawal.

The applicable statutory complaint period is normally at least two years from delivery, and may be five years for products or components that are intended to last substantially longer than two years.

Nothing in these terms shortens any statutory complaint period.

15. Intellectual Property and Licensed Designs

The PrintCraft Creations website, including our own text, photographs, graphics, branding and other original content, is protected by applicable intellectual property law.

Many products sold by PrintCraft are based on designs created by independent artists, studios and licensors. Copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights relating to those designs remain with their respective rights holders.

PrintCraft produces and sells such products under applicable commercial licences or other permissions from the relevant rights holders.

Purchasing a physical product does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property or digital design files to the customer.

Unless expressly permitted by the relevant rights holder or applicable law, purchasing a product does not grant a right to commercially reproduce, manufacture, distribute or sell copies of the underlying design.

Names, logos and trademarks belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

16. Product Use and Safety

Unless a product is expressly described as a toy, our miniatures, articulated models, terrain pieces and similar products are intended primarily for hobby, decorative or collectible use.

Products may contain small parts, pointed details or components that can present a choking or injury hazard and may therefore be unsuitable for young children.

Customers are responsible for using products appropriately and in accordance with any safety information provided with the product or on the product page.

Nothing in this section limits PrintCraft's responsibility for product safety obligations imposed by applicable law.

17. Personal Information and Privacy

Our processing of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

We collect and process information necessary to operate the store, fulfil orders, provide customer service, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.

Our store is hosted using Shopify, and certain information may also be processed by Shopify and the payment, shipping or other service providers required to complete your transaction.

18. Website Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes.

You must not knowingly:

• interfere with the operation or security of the website;

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts;

• introduce malicious software or code;

• use automated systems in a way that materially disrupts the website;

• use the website to commit fraud or other unlawful activity; or

• infringe the intellectual property rights of PrintCraft or third parties.

We may take reasonable measures to protect the website, customers and our systems against abuse, fraud or security threats.

19. Third-Party Services

Some functions of our store are provided by third parties, including Shopify, payment providers and shipping carriers.

Their services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

Where a third-party service is used to fulfil part of your order, this does not remove any responsibility that PrintCraft has toward consumers under mandatory applicable law.

External websites linked from our site are operated independently, and we are not responsible for their content unless otherwise required by law.

20. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights.

PrintCraft is not responsible for losses resulting solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control where liability does not otherwise follow from applicable law.

We are not liable for indirect commercial losses suffered by a customer acting in the course of business unless such liability follows from mandatory law or has been expressly agreed.

No provision in these terms is intended to exclude liability for defective products, personal injury or other matters where liability cannot legally be excluded.

21. Force Majeure and Events Outside Our Control

Production and delivery may occasionally be affected by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe transport disruption, natural disasters, power outages, major equipment failures, strikes, war, government restrictions or other extraordinary circumstances.

Where such an event affects an order, we will make reasonable efforts to minimise the impact and inform affected customers where appropriate.

This section does not remove any rights you may have under mandatory consumer law if delivery is delayed or becomes impossible.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service & Conditions of Sale when necessary, for example to reflect changes to our services, business practices or applicable law.

The terms applicable to a purchase are normally those that were available when the order was placed.

Changes made after an order has been placed will not retroactively reduce mandatory or contractual rights relating to that order.

The current version will be published on our website.

23. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Any invalid provision shall be interpreted or limited only to the extent necessary to make it lawful where possible.

24. Governing Law

These Terms of Service & Conditions of Sale and purchases from PrintCraft are governed by Norwegian law.

If you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under rules that cannot lawfully be excluded by agreement.

25. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the matter directly.

If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly between us, Norwegian consumers may request mediation through the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet).

Where applicable, unresolved disputes may subsequently be brought before the Norwegian Consumer Complaints Committee (Forbrukerklageutvalget).

Consumers may also have access to other dispute resolution mechanisms or competent courts as provided by applicable law.
