After a particularly close brush with death, Corsicus was granted a leave of absence by his Lord, for the Golden Griffins had been hired to bolster the defenses of Mayreth’s east, giving reprieve to the attritioned forces of Mayreth’s armies.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eCorsicus has thus travelled southwards, shedding his armour in search of truth and meaning beyond the wolds of his homeland. Yet he would not think that his search would leave him to the peculiarity of the Bastion of the Wandering Mage. Where he searched for relaxation, splendour and to learn from the cultures of the south, he now finds himself intrigued by the fable.
