For generations, the wives of village chiefs and their daughters in Nordheim were raised as warriors, like their siblings, for their belonging in the warrior-caste of their clans. In the wilds of Nordheim, no excuse was spared for failure, and the women were expected to perform just as well as the men, lest they perish to the elements and their foes.
